| | I entered into machine embroidery with my first purchase of an embroidery only machine. After finding plenty of FREE stuff to try I still wanted to do more. I joined groups and one day while sitting with my friend Lisa , I was sketching. I drew this Goose with a bonnet and purse. She told me I needed to do something with that. My husband told me I should try and start a business online since I was on it so much. Granny Goose was born from that sketch that day. Lisa and I would look at the different sketches I did after that and she would make suggestions of things for Granny to do. I miss those times with her. Even though she has gone home to be with OUR Lord and Savior, she is far from forgotten.
| Momma How do you get used to the pain of losing the one who brought you into this world and guided you. The one who passed her talents and visions onto you. I can't. The pain gets softer each day, but the memories grow dearer. My mom was one special lady who looks me in the eye every time I look in the mirror. I am happy to look like her and to carry part of her name as my own and to be able to point her out to my children as a lady they could truly love. Not all are as fortunate as I to have this kind of mother.  | |
